Youthful Energy : The website's colors and design should give it a young and dynamic feel, 30-something, NOT 50-something!

FB Posts :
I habitually post on Facebook (and occasionally Linkedin, Twitter, Vkontaktye, etc.): articles on subjects of interest to me -- mostly International Affairs, developments in Ukraine, US Politics, Green Energy, Science News, etc. I would like to have a feature on Gairik.com that records my posts (on Facebook, etc.), as a Link Library.

Russian View : An inevitable audience for this website are my past, present and future contacts (children, family, friends, associates and other social acquaintances). Please assume that this target audience is mainly ethnic Europeans, living in and native to Ukraine, Russia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Scandinavia, the Baltic/Balkans, elsewhere in CEE (Central and Eastern Europe). Many are Russian-speaking, and their English is weak or non-existent.

I would like to have a feature on the site that allows interested viewers to see the contents of any given page in the Russian language.

I've already put in something like this, but I'd like to see if it can be improved, with a more elegant solution.

Gastronomics :
Some content is already there on this page. I'd like add a cookery and recipes section on my favorite foods, foods that are both delicious and healthy, with a related Link Library of Culinary Videos on Youtube.

Entertainment Hub :
It already links to (English- and Russian-language) Entertainment Resource Hubs / Link Libraries (books/literature, music, movies, TV -- that I like and want people to enjoy).

This Entertainment Hub could be far better organized /coded / presented than it is right now.

There could be a Blog here, allowing people to comment on the content, and to suggest additions, etc.

Photo Gallery : the current one needs vast improvement.

Gairik.com is also meant to be a Christian Resource, and my 'Lay' Christian Ministry.

Directories of Care Homes :
I want my site to include -- a Directory of Care Homes (currently see the content at /3/ResourceDirectories, the starting point) -- Link Library(ies) / Directory/(ies) of
1. Orphanages,
2. Old Age Homes,
3. Care Homes for the Physically Disabled,
4. Care Homes for the Autistic,
5. Care Homes for the Mentally Disabled,
6. Care Homes for the Victims of Abuse (a.k.a., "Battered Women's Shelters", since the victims are often 'battered' women with young children)
7. Care Homes for the Homeless (a.k.a., "Homeless Shelters"),
8. ... and other similar constituencies.

with an emphasis on the ex-Soviet Bloc Lands, but also covering other places.

There should be a Sign-up Form for Care Homes, to become 'members' of this directory service, with the ability (for those who have signed up) to come back any time, login to make updates to their records.

The Login Id and Password would be of their own choosing (and able to be automatically retrieved/reset over email), with hints for remembering forgotten Login Ids and Passwords.

Each member's record must be tied to a minimum of 1 valid email address.

Directory of Churches, Seminaries & Missions/Missionaries:
(With similar functionalities as with the proposed Directory of Care Homes above) -- I also want to add a Directory of Churches and Seminaries (Religious Schools), highlighting those that conduct their activities in English.
- This should have a section for Christian Missionaries, Christian Missions, NGOs, etc. (that are not churches, but clearly do the same types of work, that Jesus asked Christians and Christian churches to do throughout the world and throughout their lifetimes -- essentially the same theology that inspired the likes of Mother Teresa and the thousands of other European Christian Missionaries who came to 3rd World countries like India and started schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, entire care-professions like nursing, etc.).

Directory of Christian Entertainment
Next, and along the same lines, I would like to add a Directory of Christian Entertainment --
- Movies,
- TV Programs-Shows,
- Webcasts,
- Podcasts,
- Books,
- Music,
Also,
- Studios,
- Publishers,
- Musicians,
- Actors,
- Writers,
- Artists,
- Parties of any and every kind --- that engage in any aspect of Christian Entertainment.

Directory of Christian- (and Christian-owned) Businesses
Later, I would like to add a Directory of Christian Businesses -- businesses that conduct themselves with clearly defined Christian principles, and also wish to be listed and regarded as 'Christian' institutions.

I'd start with the category, 'Schools & Institutions of Education and Care-giving'.

Help with ALL of the above is sought.

Most of the site's content already is, and/or will continue to be -- written by me, or
is static content written by others and presented by me,
many Link Libraries, to Youtube, etc.
There MIGHT be one / more Blog areas.
no e-Commerce.

So there is no high-tech work for this website. The main responsibility of the Web Designer is to make the site look good, and attract the attention of the target audience.
