Beautiful stranger, Voyager of the depths of time and space and web.
Blessed be, that you have journeyed to the humble online doors of this our simple virtual chapel of lay ministry, an outreach of Gairik.com's Русский мир-focused Christianitiatives.
Know that you are loved, just the way you are, by God, the Father who created you, who is even now quietly knocking on your door asking you to let him in.
Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those
that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.
“The LORD bless thee and keep thee, Y’varech’cha Adonai v’yeesh’m’reicha.
יְבָ רֶ כְ ָך יְיָ וְ יִ שְׁ מְ רֶ ָך.
The LORD make His face to shine upon thee, and be gracious to thee; Yaer Adonai panav eleicha veechooneka.
יָאֵ ר יְיָ פָּ נָיו אֵ לֶ יָך וִ יחֻ נֶּךָּ .
The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” Yeesa Adonai panav eleicha v’yasem l’cha shalom.
יִ שָּׂ א יְיָ פָּ נָיו אֵ לֶ יָך וְ יָ שֵׂ ם לְ ָך שָׁ לוֹם.
A Psalm of David
[1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shalt not want.
[2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
[3] He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.
[4] Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I shalt fear no evil:
for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
[5] Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
[6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I wilt dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
1 If I speak in the tongues[a]
of men or of angels,
but do not have love,
I am only a resounding gong
or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy
and can fathom all mysteries
and all knowledge
, and if I have a faith
that can move mountains,
but do not have love,
I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor
and give over my body to hardship
that I may boast,[b]
but do not have love,
I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
But where there are prophecies,
they will cease;
where there are tongues,
they will be stilled;
where there is knowledge,
it will pass away. 9 For we know in part
and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes,
what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child,
I talked like a child,
I thought like a child,
I reasoned like a child.
When I became a man,
I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection
as in a mirror;
then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part;
then I shall know fully,
even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain:
faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.
We believe in one God,
the Father, the almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is,
seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord,
Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven;
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified
under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and
is seated at the right hand of the father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord,
the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son
he is worshipped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy
catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism
for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
